Most new LuLaRoe customers start by buying a pair of leggings—I did! I started with two pair of wild printed leggings “to wear at home” I fell in love with the feel of them immediately and wore them constantly at home. I didn’t have anything to wear with them, and I kept hearing about the LuLaRoe Irma–the tunic top. I researched sizing, and ordered my first Irma.
I was hooked from the moment I tried it on. I love the elbow length sleeve, the high-low hem, and the length is perfect to wear with leggings.
Sizing is generous, so you will want to size down 1-2 sizes.
I’m a size 12 and normally wear a large t-shirt, but I wear a small LuLaRoe Irma. Most of my customers size down, although some of my plus-sized ladies prefer theirs true-to-size. The arms are fitted, so keep that in mind.
I have since branched out and have tried every style LuLaRoe makes. I have several favorites (Carly, Sarah, Lola, Classic Tees), but an Irma and leggings is still my go-to for my casual wear. I work from home, and this has become my uniform of sorts. I feel put together enough that I can run out to the store without changing, but I’m comfy enough to curl up in my reading chair with my pup and my laptop.
I also love to wear an Irma with skinny jeans.
This works well for those printed Irmas that you can’t find leggings to match, or a solid with a printed Sarah over it. They also are perfect with fitted dress pants! If you want to try this look, ask for a “slinky” or polyester blend Irma—they are just a little dressier, and they don’t wrinkle!
An Irma and a Cassie also make for a great outfit. If you are afraid of the fit of a Cassie (they are booty-hugging, but in the best way!), an Irma will give you a little extra coverage and confidence.
